Shearing Jacob Ram with 15mo. wool growth and about a 6" staple, and very felted tips. Horned sheep can be more of a challenge to shear but they're not too bad. Excessively long/ cotted sheep can be very hard to shear, so it's best that most sheep be kept on a 12mo. shearing schedual, with exceptions for breeds like Navajo Churro which should be sheared every 6mo.
