Jacob Sheep

          Welcome, and I hope you enjoy your visit to our humble facilities. We are located in Bakersfeild, California, the oasis in the desert, here in the lower portion of the central valley.

          Our goal here at IDEAL FARM is to raise quality Jacob sheep. Focusing on genetic diversity, fleeces, structural correctness, as well as breeding to maintain the well loved markings and important qualities of ease of lambing, good mothering, and correct horn placement. In the future we will be offering a whole selection of wool products from coated sheep, as well as pelts, locker lambs, and other sheep related items. All the sheep are registered with the Jacob Sheep Breeders Association. Our flock is enrolled in the California Voluntary Scrapie Program, flock number CALF.
